That was from a letter to Rolling Stone magazine after John Lennon was shot and killed in front of the Dakota, in New York City...December 8, 1980. That was the complete letter. It will stick in my mind as long as i live, and i still cry when i think of it.

Of Lemonade And Doing God's Work...

I read the article by Killfile of the little girls in a Chicago suburb who, gasp, gave away free lemonade to total strangers (presumably) on a hot day. It really touched me that three young kids would have the empathy for others to do such a thing.
